Tutorial Transcript: Creating a Project to De-dupe a List

Once you have logged into Match2Lists, click on the My Lists menu option.

Check the list you want to de-dupe has been uploaded and is available and ready for matching.  If your lists are still being processed you will see the processing status beneath the rows column, next to the list name.  You’ll need to wait for the processing to finish before you can de-dupe this list.

For advice and information about uploading lists check out our other tutorials and blog.

Assuming your lists have been processed, click on the De-dupe a List button.

You are now on the Match2Lists project setup page.

Begin by entering a Name for your de-dupe project.

You can use the notes section to add further information.

Select the country you chose with your list when you uploaded it.

Now select the list you would like to de-dupe.

Finally click the Continue button to submit this de-dupe project for matching.

Your project is now queued for loading into memory on our powerful cloud computing platform, which supports rapid, on-demand data matching.

This may take anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes depending on the size of your list and the current workload on the system.

You’ll be able to monitor the status of your projects during this process.

When ready you’ll be able to start de-duping your lists with our unique Match Visualizer by clicking on the orange magnifying glass button, next to your list name.

I hope you found this useful, please check out our other Tutorials for guidance on using the Match Visualizer.

Thank you.
