On occasion, you may find that a list you are uploading fails, and is not accepted by Match2Lists. There are many reasons why this may happen.
The most common reason we have found is lists having inconsistent numbers of columns in every row.
We have seen this happen where the list has been edited in a standard Text Editor rather than a structured tool such as Microsoft Excel. When editing Lists in a Text Editor it’s easy to remove carriage returns, which results in rows being merged together creating the inconsistent number of columns.
If for any reason your list does fail to load, you will need to remove the list from your available lists. You do this by clicking on the delete button shown in the picture below.
Clicking on the error code will pop up a window telling you why the list failed to load so, that you can investigate and fix the issue and then try again.
